Creative Suitland presents CREATIVE SATURDAY

In partnership with Better Block Foundation and Prince George’s Planning Department, Creative Suitland Arts Center celebrates the Better Block Suitland kick-off on the weekend of April 8-9, 2022. On Saturday, April 9, 12-4pm, it’s Creative Saturday with free creative workshops, THRIVE vendor market and family art activities presented by Prince George’s Park and Recreation’s Arts on a Roll program.

Better Block Suitland is a neighborhood-led placemaking event that will help residents and small businesses get creative with their public space. Together we will create a safe, welcoming and creative space for all ages. This is a free community event, but guests are encouraged to register via Eventbrite.

Creative Suitland Arts Center, a project of Joe’s Movement Emporium, is an arts-based community development strategy to include residents and businesses in defining the cultural and creative spirit of greater Suitland area.

Event Schedule:

12-4pm | Free demo workshops, artisan vendors, food trucks, outdoor creative play activites, community paint projects, and family art activities presented by Prince George's Parks and Recreation's Arts on a Roll program.
