#VRE (The Velvet Rope Experience) is a PREMIERE pop-up visual arts showcase that infuses dope artistry, music, and red velvet-flavored eats, while paying homage to well-known music artists, bands or groups.
Our Online Network
Our social media platforms (Facebook + Instagram) are designated to display and market each of our exhibiting #VRE artists, and we create personalized content promo and an online profile for each artist on the “Artbae Society” segment of this website. Upon acceptance into the showcase, #VRE artists are connected via email and are encouraged to promote the event by sharing photos, videos, music and more.
Our Showcase Events
#VRE Showcases are live events that feature hand-selected independent artists in all creative genres: visual art, fashion & accessory design, craft, film, tech, music, performance art, hair & makeup artistry, and photography.
Our senior leadership team works to plan, promote & produce each #VRE showcase in the DMV area. From the venue spaces, decor and lighting to the drink selections and event partnerships, every detail of the event is meticulously tailored to suit the theme of each showcase.
What can you expect when attending a #VRE Showcase?
As everyone is considered a VIP guest, all attendees will experience, a pop-up art gallery featuring independent visual artists and photographers, fashion shows from up-and-coming local designers, live musical and/or dance performances, vendor booths hosting local artisans, and beauty features through roaming models and live performance art. You'll get a little taste of everything that the DMV creative community has to offer. Combine all of the above talent with creative cocktails, red-velvet flavored eats, networking and shopping, and you have the Velvet Rope Experience!
