The Real Milk & Honey Artist Submission Form

Artbae, LLC in partnership with The Artbae Foundation Inc. is accepting and reviewing artwork for display at The Real Milk & Honey Market & Pancake Factory located in Camp Springs, MD. The artwork will be rotated approximately twice per year (every six months) with an artist “feature wall” exhibit rotated quarterly (every three months).

All mediums will be considered.

Preference will be given to Artbae artists and local artists with a body of large scale works (36 x 48 and larger).

What we offer:

  • A display of your artwork in a new, state-of-the-art restaurant establishments for 6 months or longer with approximately 1,000 visitors enjoying the work daily!

  • Marketing and promotion via our e-newsletter, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter to announce your artwork on display

  • A chance to have your artwork displayed on the quarterly “feature wall” and an opportunity to host an opening reception to reveal your work

  • An established venue to sell your artwork

  • A chance to support the community by encouraging economic growth (note: 10% of commission from artwork sales goes directly to our partnering charity organization)

Commission Payout:

  • 80% - Artist

  • 10% - Charity ( Prince George’s County Food Equity Council - an organization that aims to reduce food insecurities and significantly increase access to sustainable food within PG County)

  • 10% - Artbae Admin Fee

Approval Process: Our team will review your application and respond if your artwork has been selected to be displayed at The Real Milk & Honey (4531 Telfair Blvd #202, Camp Springs, MD 20746)

Acceptance: If accepted, our curator will reach out via email or phone to arrange delivery of artwork to The Real Milk & Honey.

Insurance: Artist shall is responsible for procuring and maintaining at their expense during the contract period insurance coverage from an insurance company such as ACT Insurance (actinsurance.com). Artist should provide proof of insurance policy upon delivery of artwork, and only a commercial liability insurance policy is encouraged (but not mandatory). Should any damages, deterioration or losses occurs to artwork, the Artist will be notified immediately, and Artist agrees to bear all risks of loss of and/or damage to the Artwork.

Fees: Please note that there is a $50.00 submission fee for up to five (5) original artwork entries ($25.00 submission fee for Artbae Artists ONLY) and a payment request will be sent immediately upon submission.
