BACK TO BLACK Pt. 2: Summer Nights
An Immersive Black Art, Food & Wine Experience
In celebration of National Black Business Month, Artbae is proud to partner once again with Boyd Cru Wines, Kindle Cuisine, and an incredible team of collaborators to present an elevated evening where visual art, culinary storytelling, wine, music, and culture come together in one unforgettable experience.
This year's theme, Summer Nights, celebrates the nostalgia, joy, traditions, and memories that define summertime in Black culture. From neighborhood cookouts and family reunions to first loves, front porch conversations, and block parties, we're inviting artists to capture the moments that continue to shape our collective story.
We're seeking five featured artists whose work embodies one of the themes below and helps transform the evening into a fully immersive storytelling experience.
ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Five selected artists will each be paired with one course of an intimate five-course dinner experience.
Each culinary course has been thoughtfully inspired by a familiar Black summertime tradition, with Chef Kim of Hayward's Private Chef & Catering crafting a menu that complements the artwork, while Boyd Cru Wines pairs each course with carefully selected wines. Throughout the evening, guests will experience the intersection of visual art, food, wine, music, and conversation in a way that celebrates culture, creativity, and community.
