#VRE (The Velvet Rope Experience) is a PREMIERE pop-up visual arts showcase that infuses dope artistry, music, and red velvet-flavored eats, while paying homage to well-known music artists, bands or groups.
This second installment of #VRE will serve as a tribute to iconic Nola-based artists to include Rebirth Brass Band, Trombone Shorty, Lil’ Wayne, Juvenile, Mystikal, Baby, Mannie Fresh, Master P., DJ Jubilee, Big Freedia, August Alsina, Frank Ocean, PJ Morton, Tank and the Bangas, Pell, & more!
The artwork featured in this show will speak to the colorful and vibrant culture of New Orleans, which is known for their distinct music, creole cuisine, unique dialect, street murals, scenic landscapes, colorful architecture and annual celebrations and festivals, most notably Mardi Gras.

Come jig with us and be entertained with live art and body art, marching band performance by Friendship Tech Prep, professional "Twerk" performance by Destiny Vaughan, electic sounds ranging from funk, jazz and big band to hype and bounce music by DJ Farrah Flosscett, drink and food specials, and a visual arts exhibition featuring the works of the following DMV-based artists:
