About the Event
Join us for the official Artist Reception for Crowns of Resilience, an inspiring group exhibition presented by Artbae x Creative Suitland. This special evening will take place on Wednesday, October 1st from 6:30 – 8:30pm at Creative Suitland Arts Center (4719 Silver Hill Rd, Suitland, MD 20746).

The Experience
Crowns of Resilience uplifts stories of strength, identity, and dignity through art, spotlighting communities impacted by homelessness, mental health challenges, autism, and broader neurodiversity. Artists explore how we “wear” our lived experiences like crowns, turning resilience into art and art into action.

During the reception, you’ll:

• Meet the Artists – Connect with the talented creatives behind the exhibition.

• Enjoy Refreshments – Light bites and beverages provided.

• Shop Original Artwork – Artwork will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

• Give Back – Portions of all proceeds from the exhibition benefit Sasha Bruce Youthwork, supporting youth experiencing homelessness.

Exhibition Dates
The Crowns of Resilience exhibition runs from September 22nd through October 8th, 2025 at Creative Suitland Arts Center.
