Presented by Artbae
National Harbor, Maryland | June 12, 2026
Artbae is excited to announce an official Open Call for Artists in partnership with the 41st Annual AMAC Airport Business Conference, hosted by BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.
We are seeking 15–20 DMV-based artists to showcase artwork during a curated exhibition experience taking place as part of one of the nation’s premier aviation, business, and cultural conferences.
With 1,000+ conference attendees expected, this exhibition is designed to elevate regional artistry, celebrate place-based storytelling, and create a compelling visual experience rooted in the culture, history, and communities of the DMV and surrounding region.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
This curated exhibition will serve as a featured visual component of the conference reception and gathering experience.
Selected artwork will help create a strong sense of place, highlighting the identity, energy, and creative spirit of Maryland, Baltimore, Washington, DC, and the broader DMV region.
Artists currently residing in the DMV are strongly encouraged to apply.
Works influenced by the region, its people, culture, architecture, landscapes, music, transportation, history, or communities will receive first prioritization and consideration.
