Le Dîner entre Amis is a private tasting experience that explores the artistry of food through an intimate group setting in order to promote creative connections, conversations and collaboration.

As Artbae seeks to encourage people to live their purpose through their passion, there is no one person who can achieve this on their own. Through the experiences we curate and support, there are connections made that can support the growth of anyone’s passion. We understand that food is art and sustenance, but Artbae believes it is more than just that. Food is identity, survival, status, community and humanity. To know these things is to learn yourself. To learn yourself is to find your purpose and your passion.

Our Tasting Experiences

Our quarterly tasting experiences serve as a hub for our subscribed members to connect beyond the typical restaurant setting and to help build community and culture through culinary arts.

Members of the Le Dîner entre Amis experience are artists, entrepreneurs, executives, creators, culinary chefs and school professors, food bloggers, restaurateurs, general foodies, and forward-thinkers who possess the ambition to create connections for our resident chef and the community of interest.

What can you expect when attending a Le Dîner entre Amis tasting experience?

As all Members are brought together on their willingness to explore food, the Le Dîner entre Amis experience will begin with aperitifs and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a 3-course meal tasting and a meet-n-greet opportunity with the resident chef. Upon conclusion of the event, members are required to provide a critique of the tasting experience via online survey, which will be used to promote the advancement of the chef. In addition to indulging quality cuisine, members will also have the opportunity to win indigenous art created by a local artist during the tasting experience. The culmination of the above talent, which aims to explore, educate, feed and inspire our participants through food, makes for an unforgettable dining experience you won’t receive anywhere else!

Aristote Sampy

Chef Sampy is from Congo-Kinshasa, Central Africa and was born in Bukavu. He became inspired to follow his passion for cooking from his dad; plus, he loves to eat!

Chef Sampy began his culinary journey by attending school for cooking, and then, began working in the restaurant industry. As a native of Congo, Chef Sampy realizes that this area currently does not have a fast food chain. His number 1 goal is to bring this fast food experience to Congo in addition to developing a fine dining restaurant where people can come and experience fine food in a warm and welcoming environment.

Craig Brown

Chef Craig is a Suitland Maryland native who became inspired to follow his passion for cooking by watching the Food Network. He got tired of looking at good food all the time and decided to start cooking it!
